My name is Megan Tovar.
Hello there! I'm a learning and development specialist based in Cleveland, Ohio. I started my career in adult education and teacher training. After almost a decade, curiosity called me into organizational learning and development. I love that now I get to design learning experiences to inspire others to grow skillsets and habits that help them reach their why more effectively and efficiently.

LEARNER-CENTER
I design experiences around the audience. During a needs assessment and/or analysis, I work to understand the context of the learners, determine the objective of the learning, and interpret the value of the outcomes for learners.
process
Processes are my safe space. I like to build good habits and set up systems in my work so that I can spend less energy on the what and more energy on the how, i.e. improving quality and exploring creativity. Don't get me wrong - I can flex and wing it when a plan doesn't come together the way I had expected. Sometimes that's when my best work comes out!
INNOVATIon
Every assignment is unique. For that reason, I take a problem-solving approach to learning design. I continually assess my inventory of tools and technologies that will get the job done most effectively and with the highest impacts.
QUALITY
I love what I do because I get to see the impacts that my learning experiences have on individuals as well as organizations. It is important to me that my work achieves the intended results. To that end, I work hard at the beginning, middle, and end of each project to ensure that quality is met and there is a sustainable handoff.
